Directions to the Marsilius Arkaden, Heidelberg The Marsilius Arkaden are located in the Neuenheimer Feld campus of Heidelberg University, at Im Neuenheimer Feld 130, 69120 Heidelberg, Germany. The area is well connected by public transport and accessible by car, bicycle, or on foot.
🚆 By Public Transport
- From Heidelberg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof):
- Take bus lines 32 (direction Kopfklinik) or 37 (direction Sportzentrum Nord) and exit at “Campus Im Neuenheimer Feld”. The Marsilius Arkaden are within a short walking distance from this stop.
- Alternatively, tram lines 21 or 24 stop at “Jahnstraße”. From there, it is approximately a 10-minute walk via Jahnstraße and Kirschnerstraße.
- Travel time from the central station is approximately 20–30 minutes depending on the connection.

🚗 By Car
- From the Autobahn (A5 or A6):
- Take the A656 towards Heidelberg → follow signs for Neuenheimer Feld.
- Cross the Neckar River via the Ernst-Walz-Brücke, then continue on Jahnstraße to Kirschnerstraße.
- Parking:
- Paid visitor parking is available near the P22 car park or the Mathematikon (approx. 8-minute walk to the Arkaden).
- Additional parking can be found at the Zoo-Parkhaus (about 500 meters away).
- Please note that parking availability on campus is limited during the day.
🚶 On Foot
- From the central station, walking takes approximately 35–40 minutes.
- From tram stop “Jahnstraße” or bus stop “Campus Im Neuenheimer Feld”, the Marsilius Arkaden can be reached in 5–10 minutes on foot.
